In a world that is becoming ever faster and more digital, Aaron and {ths} rely on deceleration and traditional techniques. Their joint Gluebook project was the result of a creative dialog across 7,426.94 km — between the USA and Germany.
They took turns adding collages, reworking existing pieces, and sending the book back and forth. Each new intervention transformed the work until it finally found its final form. This analog, hand-guided process was finally digitized and printed in a limited edition.
Other Side of the Punchbowl is more than an art book — it is a tribute to the slowness, the material, and the magic of physical collaboration and a whole lot of punch.
