A Visual Diary of Sorts
Fisch Kiosk (FK), the newest venture from Plastikcomb Magazine’s Founders, Aaron L. Beebe and Thomas Schostok {ths}, pays homage to Lewis Blackwell and Neville Brody’s 1996 publication, G1: New Dimensions in Graphic Design. Three decades later, and culminating over three years of dedicated work, Fisch Kiosk presents a comprehensive 192-page anthology showcasing design, photography, Gluebooks, collages, and collaborative exchanges between the two artists, despite residing 3,292 miles (ca. 5.298 km) apart.
All the images in FK have been created exclusively for this collaborative endeavour. Within the publication, readers can expect to find spreads from a myriad of Gluebooks initiated and completed by the two artists. Furthermore, supporters of the project will have the opportunity to receive the actual glue-books as rewards, alongside collages and other items showcased within FK.
The audience for this book spans across individuals with a keen interest in art, design, photography, and the dynamic process of collaboration. Whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or a curious newcomer, FK offers a captivating exploration into the intersection of creativity and partnership, appealing to a diverse range of artistic sensibilities.
