Thomas Schostok, based in Essen, Germany, is an artist, graphic designer, and type designer who founded his studio {ths} in 1999. He blends fine art, typography, and digital collage into layered, visually dense works using found images, comics, ads, and text. Internationally recognized, he pioneered digital collage through projects like BEAST Magazine (2001) and co-founded Cape Arcona Type Foundry (2002), in 2020 he co-founded Plastikcomb Magazine.
